Dad Bod Tees & Apparel began with a unique vision rooted deeply in family ties and a shared passion for unique lifestyles. Founded by Eric & Amy, the idea emerged during a trip to Las Vegas where their eclectic interests sparked a conversation about blending fashion with their love for things like, travel, tattoos, skateboarding, surfing, and a zen mindset.

Eric, an aspiring graphic designer and tattoo enthusiast, had been designing clothing ideas for years.  Amy, with her marketing background and a knack for understanding niche markets, saw an opportunity to create something more than just clothing - a lifestyle brand that resonated with families like theirs who shared a passion for unconventional hobbies and a love for quality, unique apparel.

The name "Dad Bod Tees & Apparel" was inspired by their combined interests - their love for tattoos, unique artwork, as well as their connection to the laid-back island vibe lifestyle they enjoyed during their travels.
